UPDATE: Seth Godin After Party in Salt Lake City, Utah

Why 13 reasons because it’s Friday the 13th.

I’ve been reading Seth Godin’s books for about six (6) years now. I own several of them including:

  • Permission Marketing
  • The IdeaVirus
  • All Marketers Are Liars
  • Survival Is Not Enough
  • Purple Cow
  • Small Is The New Big
  • A couple of free ebooks I can’t find on my computer right now

His books are so easy to read and understand and it’s obvious that he’s so far ahead of any marketplace I’ve been involved with that the information is still new 2-3 years from the time I read it. In other words, he’s bleeding edge.

NOTE: Interestingly, his blog is harder for me to follow because the quick bursts of information are often without context (just the way he intended, I’m sure) but more difficult than his books nonetheless.

  8. We have a great ATV, hiking, biking, and camping community where you can get in touch with nature.
  9. libel_vox says that Seth is very smart to have his fans help promote his new book and book tour. Seth, we’re working very hard to make it happen.
  10. Utah is trying to understand and promote energy efficient alternatives
  11. 5 Utahns will be competing in the Iron Man this year
  12. As soon as I started this post, the sun came out. It’s a sign.
  13. The local Foxnews affiliate tried to start a blogging community and failed miserably. They need your help.
