Seth, I disagree

Seth Godin, Master of Marketing, recently posted “Perfect” on his blog. This works great for branded companies, but small businesses often mistake this kind of advertising for their non-branded products and fail miserably. I have to assume that Seth means this is perfect for Tiffany & Co. because they are branded.

Painting? No way.

I was reading online about an artist who uses Flickr images to create high-priced artwork, and it reminded me of something I was testing about a year ago.
Because I have been shooting digital photography (amateur) for a couple of years, I had a ton of blurry and just plain “bad” shots on my hard drive. I wanted to do something with these because they still meant something to me.
In Adobe Photoshop you can apply filters and create some really interesting images. They may not be “high-priced” capable, but it gives me a creative outlet.

Many come
many stay
breathing, speaking
Laughter, smiles
tears of joy
follow
Too long, too long
One leaves
then another
’til all are parted
no more
Alone some

Hums, whirls,
common clatter exist
busily accomplishing
Seeking, not finding
conversation
friends are abstract
voices, rather,
chatter aimlessly
avoiding conclusion
Reflection of self
through a minds eye
prolifically increasing
Alone some
