This example of customer service from Church of the Customer Blog will go far the next time I’m wandering through the mall. This approach may never happen again from J. Crew (aside from Natalie) but it gives me hope. Natalie could make a fortune sharing her humanistic approach with others who treat their retail job like something they “have” to do. Thanks Natalie.

After my parents started bringing home things from Brazil, Fiji, Israel, Turkey, Egypt, etc. I started thinking we should help bring these products to America — somehow. However, having never been outside of the United States, I felt helpless in knowing how to go about doing this.

Now using Kiva we can invest in the world economy through microlending.

Kiva’s concept seems much easier than mine and I think I’ll have to get involved.

Thanks to Seth for this one.
