When you enter at Tibble Fork take the East trail (not the trail at the top of the pavement that leads to Silverlake Flat).
Once on the trail heading east you’ll come to a fork at about 10-15 minutes in…stay left (right takes you to Cascade Springs and Heber).
At about this point you’re going to start seeing signs posted along the left side about the Mining Reclamation Project.
Stay on the main trail all the way up. Once you reach Snowbird you’ll see a No Trespassing sign. You’ll be starring at the backside of a mountian but you can see the lifts and there is a beautiful stream running next to the trail.
Keep in mind that the trail gets very rough after the fork in the road. Kids should not ride much past here. My friend and I had to take it slow a couple times as we rode through the empty and very rocky riverbed.
Also be very careful not to puncture your tire on the rocks like we did. We didn’t notice until is was too late and we had to ride it all the way out with a flat because we didn’t have a tire repair kit.
I’m hoping to get on the mountain next week so I’ll take some pics if I can get away from the office.
So I’m driving home tonight after meeting with Robert, Jason, and John for a little geek dinner at Mimi’s Cafe and I passed two billboards on I-15 within about a mile of each other.
The problem is each billboard lists a different date. Look again. Interesting huh?
Being in the tradeshow business for most of my life I couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to blog this. I almost always carry my camera for moments like these and my wife reminds me of how geeky that is every time I leave the house.
I’m planning on attending the UV Expo again this year since last year was very productive. I even met up with an old high school friend from Timpview.

I’ve been on MySpace for a year and I’ve had no friends all this time. My brother added a few months ago and then my wife joined recently so that got me started. I’ve now found Joey (Nameluss), Eminent, Jonny, Tasha, and Amie. I’ve also found a couple of people “I think” I know and I’ve tried to get in touch.
I signed up for YouTube like 2 months ago but I didn’t have any videos to upload. Last night I took Sadie and her friend to the Monster Truck Jam in Salt Lake and shot several videos throughout the night. I also took a few Monster Truck pictures and put them up on my Flickr page.
I’m really excited that my new camera can shoot such good video for an mpg. I’ll try to be more creative in finding opportunities to shoot video instead of just snapping a quick picture.
I’m just glad to be home finally. I’ve been traveling since January 8 and even though I’ve been home off and on, my mind has been on the road. I’ve snapped tons of pics and met tons of new people so I’ve got plenty of new blogs coming.
My travels have taken me to Phoenix, AZ for the Wedding MBA convention, Seattle for our Tacoma and Bellevue Wedding Expos and Idaho for a client meeting regarding search marketing in 2007 and the impact of social media.
I’m looking forward to warmer weather and 4-wheeling with the kids in the next few weeks.
