Riding by yourself is usually not advised for safety reasons but that’s not usually my concern - I’m fairly safe on my own cause I’m naturally cautious.
I’ve never been on a solo ride because I like having company but today was different in that I needed some me-time and I also wanted to explore a little more and sometimes having a friend along slows you down.
So here’s what I learned:
- Deer are just a stupid on the mountain as they are on the street - I almost hit 2 of them on the trail.
- It’s too beautiful not to ride atv’s in the mountains - the trees are already changing colors hee in Utah.
- The rivers aren’t as full as they were last year
- There are so many trails in American Fork Canyon that you could spend 5 years exploring and never see it all
- Heber Valley is so much more beautiful from above
- I need to ride solo more often
