A few days ago I received a call from my dad because a family friend needed transportation home from the hospital after a rollover car accident.

After we got Barbara settled at home, we went out in search of her things and her dog, because both were 2 1/2 hours away and the car was being totaled by insurance. Her dog, Rusty, is an assisted living dog who really helps her out. He was very well behaved, but I’m not a dog person so it was a little difficult to have him in the car for 3 hours.

Barbara is healing well and will be going in for a check-up soon.
