Artist Profile: Ray Schloss

It’s been months since my last post because I’ve been struggling with what to write; how to start again. Today, I stumbled onto a site while looking for art supplies and I just had to share this art with you.

His name is Ray Schloss and his paintings have moved me.

41 Series Paintings

These paintings have been a couple months in progress as I’ve played with some different ideas and tested many techniques to get what I wanted here. This project also gave me the chance to begin my Ustream feed and get familiar with live streaming.

I’m currently working on a couple of variations because of where these techniques took me and I hope to include those in my next live art show.

Each of these are 12 x 12 inches.

Artist Profile: Natasha Wescoat

I was turned on to Natasha’s website, blog, eBay store, etsy store and twitter feed about two weeks ago and I fell in love with her work. I’ve shared her site with a few people and even gathered a few ideas for Christmas presents.

Mostly, I’m impressed with her talent and her ability to take it online through so many social sites and avenues to find an audience.

Here’s some of her work. Go support her.

Artist Profile: Esref Armagan

This artist intrigued me from the beginning but not for his style of work. He’s obviously talented anyway but he was born blind and has never been able to see and understand colors as sighted people do. Watch the video at the bottom for more information.

Here’s a few of his pieces and you can find more of his work on his website.

Artist Profile: Joey M. Robinson

I’ve discovered another artist, Joey M. Robinson, and I’ve fallen in love with his work. I met him in Seattle while I was out to eat with my brother in Pioneer Square and spent about 30 minutes learning a little about him.

This stuff is amazing!

Check out Joey’s website for updated information.
