When is bigger big enough?

Now 5 blades gives a better shave?
I tried to switch my razor from the Gillette Mach III to the Shick Quattro — not an experience I would recommend for men with sensitive skin. Using my power-sander feels better. I know.
My question is “how many blades does it take to get a great shave?” And might the problem be the technique and not the blade itself?
